Abstract

Medicamentous methods of therapy do not always allow to restore impaired functions, despite the large range of synthetic drugs, the action of which is directed only at some links of pathogenesis. This, to a certain extent, can explain the likelihood of repeated violations of the coronary or cerebral circulation with a variety of pathogenetic disorders. In addition, drugs for the treatment of CVD have a fairly large number of side effects and contraindications. CVD therapy requires long-term treatment with a large number of drugs, most of which are potent and have a number of side effects and contraindications, which can complicate the course of the underlying disease. The number and severity of drug complications is increasing every year. From the complications of drug therapy, according to WHO experts, about one million inhabitants of the globe die every year. Drug therapy for coronary heart disease and especially stroke are among the most expensive. This situation is observed both abroad and in 37 of us in the country. Therefore, the problem of the effectiveness of treatment of CVS disorders remains relevant. Achievements in clinical pharmacology to create a new generation of cardiological herbal medicines show the promise of herbal medicine. Evidence of the clinical efficacy of antihypertensive, antianginal, antiarrhythmic and diuretic herbal drugs has been obtained.
