Abstract

The article describes the main range of concepts and phenomena in the sphere of a relatively new direction in the modern science of language - cognitive stylistics, which is a separate field of linguistic science. The main notions of cognitive science and discourse are considered. The actual tasks of the science of cognitive stylistics are defined.
