Abstract

The article analyzes the socio-economic significance and cultural aspects of the concept of the quality of higher education. Various scientific approaches to determining the quality of education are described. Compared various national systems around the world, ensuring the quality of education. The mechanism of internal and external evaluations of higher education quality improvement models is analyzed. According to world practice, models of quality assurance in higher education and the effectiveness of their use are identified. Including the international prestige of the French model, the British model and the Bologna model, as well as the possibility of using these models. Scientific proposals and practical recommendations on the implementation of international requirements and the implementation of recommendations aimed at ensuring the quality of higher education in Uzbekistan have been developed.
