THE CONCEPT OF MOTHER IN RELIGIOUS SOURCES

Abstract

This article talks about the noble efforts made in our country to glorify women, as well as the attention given to women in religious sources. The analysis of the verses about the mother revealed in the Holy Qur'an, examples of authentic hadiths are given, and the use of the concept of mother in different nations is comparatively studied. In addition, sources related to the concept of mother in proverbs, riddles, and fairy tales were analyzed. Examples of aspects related to the concept of mother are given in prose and poetic works. Based on the stories collected in O'tkir Hashimov's Dunya's works, the characteristics of the concept of mother are reasonably listed. In particular, the article shows the requirements and different points of the mother concept in the series of periods.
