Abstract

The article highlights the history of translations and publications of poetic works and famous memoirs “Babur-name” by the great Uzbek writer and public figure Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur in Russian. The analysis of specific facts shows the merits of translators and publishers in popularizing the poetic and scientific heritage of ZM Babur. The author puts forward a number of practical considerations for the further improvement of the state of translation and publishing on the issue under study.
