Abstract

In this article, the central issue of discussion is morality crisis of an individual. The best-known novel “White Teeth” by Zadie Smith has been selected as a focus for the analysis of the fore mentioned problem in English literature. Although the events in the novel “White Teeth” covers from 1975 to 2000, it deals with the social, political, moral, psychological, cultural and religious realities in that period. The main point of the article is to analyze and exemplify specific cases of moral crisis of the characters in the novel.
