Abstract

The article analyzes information technologies in teaching English for students. The didactic properties and functions of information technologies are considered, as well as their impact on the intensification of the English language learning process. Various forms of practical use of educational technologies in the process of teaching English at a technical university are highlighted. The possibilities of using these technologies in working with students are shown, which contribute to the development of communication, strengthening interpersonal relationships, the ability to listen and argue their position. Therefore, today information technologies are one of the main tools for improving the efficiency of teaching English at several universities.
