Abstract

The article discusses the issues of assimilation of terms and special vocabulary of terminological nature by medical university students, andalso provides recommendations for obtaining detailed and in-depth information about a particular term, its structure, meaning, etymology, contributing to the creation of accurate correct, aesthetically impeccable professional speech. Teaching the language of the specialty begins with an explanation of the meanings of the terms. In the formation of professional communicative competence of future doctors in the Russian language classes, a special place is occupied by the independent work of students. The use of various tasks for independent work of students provides an effective opportunity to activate, consolidate and enrich the vocabulary of students.
