This article highlights the importance of sustainable resource management, external influences, and political interventions and provides an overview of key concepts and principles in the field. In addition, it studies the economic valuation of environmental goods and services, market-based tools for Environmental Protection, and problems arising from global environmental problems. The article highlights the important role of the economy in solving pressing environmental problems and achieving a balance between economic development and environmental sustainability.
