PREVENTIVE VALUE OF STUDYING DIABETES MELLITUS

Abstract

The article presents the results of assessing the level of awareness of older people about the socially significant disease diabetes mellitus. Socially significant diseases cause enormous damage to society, associated with the loss of temporary and permanent disability, the need for huge costs for the treatment and rehabilitation of such patients.
