DETERMINATION OF LEVELS OF LEAD AND CADMIUM IN VARIOUS MEAT TISSUES OF BEEF, GOAT AND LAMB

Abstract

Lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) levels from different fresh meat tissues from beef, goat and lamb were determined in Lebanon for the first time. The inter- and internal distribution levels were estimated and compared. Their potential exposure risk from dietary intake was also studied.
