WAYS AND FACTORS OF ADOPTION OF ARABIC LOCALITIES TO THE LEXICON OF TURKIC LANGUAGES

Abstract

The article examines the ways, methods and factors of borrowing Arabic words into Turkic languages, in particular, into Uzbek, Karakalpak and Turkmen. The linguistic conditions necessary for borrowed words to become an active lexicon of the assimilated language are indicated. The interaction of languages, socio-historical conditions, linguistic and extralinguistic factors is highlighted as the basis for the assimilation of words from one language to another.
